Clubs and Activities
We know that students need opportunities to connect with other children outside the classroom. Joining a club gives children a comfortable place to meet others with similar interests. This often forms the basis for lifelong friendships.
Our schools offer a wide range of clubs for students who want to explore music, math, theater, community service, sports, science, reading, writing, games, problem-solving and much more.

Painted Sky's NATIONAL ELEMENTARY HONOR SOCIETY
Painted Sky is very proud to be one of only a few elementary schools in the state with a chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society!
The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) was established in 2008 "to recognize elementary students both public and non-public elementary schools for their outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated personal responsibility, to provide meaningful service to the school and community, and to develop essential leadership skills in the students of elementary schools." (NEHS website).
Students entering 4th and 5th grades grade are nominated by a teacher or administrator and then have the opportunity to apply for membership into NEHS. NEHS members meet monthly for regular meetings and perform various service projects both within the school and the community. Membership is both an honor and a commitment. Members are expected to display 4 pillars both in and outside of school: SCHOLARSHIP, RESPONSIBILITY, LEADERSHIP, AND SERVICE.
